Principal,  Janna Sells

I am a passionate and tenacious educator who serves with kids' needs as my number one priority.  Every decision that I make comes from a deeply rooted mindset that I can be a champion for children. My instructional experience spans across K-12 and higher education.   My immense desire to grow and reach more students led to building and district administrative roles. I have made a career of coaching both school leaders and teachers toward helping high-need students achieve greater results. Together with my amazing team, I work toward empowering and growing teachers so we can offer the best place to learn and grow students' minds and hearts.

I received my Bachelors of Arts in Elementary Education from the University of NC at Charlotte.  My Master of Science in Curriculum & Instruction from Appalachian State University.  I then added on my Master Certificate in Educational Leadership & Administration from Appalachian State University.

When I am not at school loving on your children I'm lost on an adventure hiking some mountain, floating in my kayak or making memories with my children in the gym or on the ball fields.  I'm loved and supported by my incredibly amazing husband, Jonathon.
